The Bottom Line:

The Good:

• Quality multilingual audio – The audio is available in four languages (i.e., English, French, Italian, and Spanish), and for each language, the voice-over is a native speaker. Enable the audio to have the app “read” the story to your children, or disable it to read the story to your children yourself.
• Beautiful graphics and sounds – The app features stunning illustrations, background music, and sound effects that really get you into the story.
• Unobtrusive ads – The ads are not distractingly big or awkwardly positioned, so they don’t really affect the way you use the app.
• Cost – It’s free*!

The Bad:

• Menu buttons are not translated – Selecting a different language does not affect the menu buttons, which are always in English. This may not be a big deal, but it would be nice if the buttons could also match the language you have selected.

The Ugly:

The Amazing:

• Multisensory experience: Puzzles and audio e-book combination – After reading or listening to the story, users can select their favorite scenes from the available puzzles, which are all very nicely done. You can even see how many moves you’ve made and shuffle the pieces or have the app automatically solve the puzzle if you ever get stuck in the game.
