The Bottom Line:
Pick an animal and trigger the animal’s sound by shaking or tapping the phone.
The Good:
- Just shake it – It uses the accelerometer, so very young children can use the app by simply shaking the phone.
- Toddler friendly – The app is very easy to use, which allows very small children to interact with it.
- A whole farm, zoo, and sea in your phone – The app includes more than 30 animals including a bird, camel, cat, cow, dog, monkey, seal, tiger, whale, and donkey.
- Multilingual – Available in many languages. (However, the only spoken sounds in this app come from the animals).
- No risk – Free trial and ad-supported version available.
The Bad:
- The original review posted on September 9, 2012, has been edited: a recent update resolves an issue previously included in this review. The Windows Phone Parent team is thrilled to see the impact that our feedback makes on the apps that our children use every day.
The Ugly:
- We could not find anything ugly about this delightful app. If you discover something new or something that could be improved with this app, please leave a comment and we will consider adding it to this post.
The Amazing:
- Metro style implementation – This application follows Metro design principlesMetro is the new design language created by Microsoft for the Windows Phone 7 interface. in a delightful way.
- Great graphics – The graphics are very sharp, colorful and attractive.
